Low mist shrouded the hills and Loch Harport yesterday morning. By early afternoon however the sun broke through and burnt out the mist. The remainder of the day we enjoyed brilliant weather with daylight extending to around 11pm.
With family members who are presently on holiday I walked the circular route via Loch Eynort which took us around 3 hours. Throughout our walk we enjoyed some spectacular sights including Bruach Na Frithe – one of the most popular Munroes in the Cuillin Hills range.
The conclusion of our walk took us above Glenbrittle over looking the beginning of the walk to the Fairy Pools and over Loch Sligachan. A most enjoyable afternoon – took some pictures including some wild colourful vegetation sheltered by forestry trees.

Fishermen coming in at Loch Harport. We enjoy the spectacle of a flotilla of yachts and small boats over the summer months. The cruise ship Hebridean Princess calls at Loch Harport usually early summer as she makes her way around the Small Isles and Outer Hebrides. An impressive sight ! The passengers and crew can enjoy an unobstructive view of the Cuillin Hills range
